Intent
Globalization on the ground
Globalization is usually discussed in abstract economic and political terms. I wanted to document what it actually looks like on the ground, in the daily life of communities far from the centers where those decisions get made.
Process
Fieldwork across Tibet and Mongolia
I traveled through rural Tibet and Mongolia, photographing people, landscapes, and the small signs of a changing world, then curated the strongest frames into a cohesive visual narrative and mounted it as a public gallery exhibit.
The work
A public gallery exhibit
- → Exhibited the work publicly at Villanova University.
- → Earned press coverage in Main Line Media News for the exhibition.
- → Turned an abstract global theme into a firsthand visual story from Tibet and Mongolia.
