One dataset, one story, made by hand.

Plotted is a gallery of data visualizations built from the ground up, with no dashboards and no templates. Each piece takes a single public dataset and tries to say one true, self-contained thing with it, designed to be read rather than filtered.

The aim sits between two references: the interactivity of a good data dashboard and the authored, editorial craft of designers like Federica Fragapane. Every piece names its source and license, and is built with Astro and D3 with the type set by hand.
